What has been your best trade since you've been in this league? For me: Basically got 2 studs for one. Yours?

Well I'll give a couple that I really liked for me.
#1 - Traded Yao for Eric Gordon. Also saved about 13 million in cap space, which ended up getting me Danny Granger. Basically Yao for Granger and Gordon. Me Likey!
#2 - Charlotte Bobcats Trade: 85 | Jason Richardson $11,111,111 | $12,222,222 | $13,333,333 | $14,444,444 75 | Raymond Felton $3,274,440 | $4,148,715 2009 2nd Round Pick (CHA)
New Orleans Hornets Trade: 86 | Chris Paul $3,615,960 | $4,574,189 76 | Bobby Jackson $5,670,000 | $6,090,000 60 | Hilton Armstrong $1,900,200 | $2,032,800 | $2,801,198 2009 1st Round Draft Pick (NOH)
I got CP3, and a very useful Bobby jackson, PLUS a 1st round pick, for JRich and Felton, and a 2nd. JRich and Felton are alright players, pretty good overall, but CP3 is a top 5 talent in the NBA, and is younger than either of those guys. Getting a great bench player in jackson plus a 1st round pick which I believe was #11 this year, was quite a haul :-)
#3 - Charlotte Bobcats Trade: 77 | Chris Webber $9,000,000 | $8,000,000 | $7,000,000 74 | Adam Morrison $4,159,200 | $5,257,228 2008 2nd Round Pick (CHA)
Washington Wizards Trade: 70 | Spencer Hawes $2,180,760 | $2,332,800 | $2,974,320 71 | DeShawn Stevenson $3,616,071 | $3,886,928 | $4,151,786 69 | Tyler Hansbrough 68 | Juan Carlos Navarro 2009 1st Round Pick (WAS)
Got a solid 1st round pick, plus draft rights to two pretty solid bench type players...oh and Spencer Hawes, now rated 77 and looking pretty good in stretches IRL, for CWebb (no longer in the league), Morrison (complete failure), and a 2nd round pick. Me Likey again!
#4 was a series of moves...Traded CP3, Toine's exprier, and Hansbrough for yao and David Lee. Different deal, I traded Okafor and Deshawn Stevenson's poop contract for Tyson Chandler and Raja Bell. Different deal, I traded Gerald Wallace, JR Smith, and Dorell Wright's long and now probably badish contract, for Tayshaun Prince, Jason Terry, and a 2nd. And then finally traded Prince and Chandler for CP3, Tyrus Thomas, and Toine's nice expiring contract back.
All together that means I traded Hansbrough Okafor Stevenson (and his poop contract) GWall JR Smith Wright (and poop contract)...
FOR
Yao Ming Jason Terry David Lee Tyrus Thomas Raja Bell Toine's nice expirer 2nd round pick
I'd say trading Okafor for yao favors me. Trading GWall for Terry is about even, maybe favors the other side. JR Smith for David Lee I'll take. and then Hansbrough, Stevenson (bad contract), and Wright (badish contract) for Tyrus, Raja Bell, Toine and his great expiring contract, and a 2nd round pick to boot...
I come out ahead in that long and windy road of trades!
And then oh yea, let's remember my trade #1 when I then traded yao for Gordon and basically Granger.
Winner!

I tend to like the last 3 way that happened for me just because it filled a MAJOR void for my team.... It was a very even trade, but one that i needed desperately

Ha it did end up pretty good for me now. I think you were focused on winning "now", back then, so you made the move to greatly improve your lineup at that time. And hey, you win some you lose some. I've made boneheaded deals in my history, though it's been less and less in recent years, I'm proud to say.

I think I traded Jamal Maglore for Russell Westbrook back when I was the 76ers. Idr, ask Miami.

Coincidentally I felt one of my best trade was Eric Gordon for Yao Ming. Youth for a stud Center.

Check last seasons draft board... Westbrook went 32nd overall (first pick in the second round) to the Mavs.... he was then traded And i Quote "With the first pick in the Second Round the Dallas Mavericks select the reigning Pac-10 defensive player of the year: Russell Westbrook SG/PG 6'4" 187 lb.---UCLA"

Not that drafting westbrook makes me look any good at all bc i then traded him with greg buckners 4 million 3 year deal for salary cap relief.... oh well, that cap went on to net me bosh, so no biggie
