Phoenix would like to offer the following to Jermaine:
2009/2010: $4,500,000 2010/2011: $5,500,000 (PO) 2010/2011: $5,500,000
*MLE used
Total: $15,500,000
2009/2010: $84,850,000 2010/2011: $73,000,000 2011/2011: $65,000,000
We offer JO a very good chance of winning his first title and at this point in his career, that should be his top priority. He'd also be the starter on team that also consists of Tim Duncan, Baron Davis, Ray Allen, Caron Butler, Tyson Chandler, Jeff Green. With JO on board I don't think there's any team in the league that can beat us.

The New Jersey Nets would like to offer Mr. O'Neal...
09/10: $7,000,000 10/11: $8,000,000 11/12: $9,000,000 (player option) 12/13: $10,000,000 (team option)
4 years / $34,000,000
The Nets feel they are a player away from seriously competing in the East. With a true center starting the young point guards (Chalmers and Beaubois) will continue to improve and O'Neal won't have to bear the offensive burden with Mayo and Griffin playing beside him. The player option in 2012 is insurance against the Nets not competing within the first two seasons and the team option is just in case the team needs to start rebuilding again. O'Neal will also have a great chance at making the all-star team on this team since he can play as many minutes as he wants.
Total Salaries (without rookies)[/u] 09/10: $43,511,521 10/11: $40,234,286 11/12: $33,450,560 12/13: $11,000,000

Offer: 40,000,000 for 4 years
Year 1 = 9,500,000 Year 2 = 9,500,000 Year 3 = 10,000,000 (PO) Year 4= 11,000,000 (PO)
Totals:
08/09 = 57,515,000 09/10 = 32,335,000 10/11 = 10,000,000 11/12 = 11,000,000
-----------------
We want O'Neal to be our starting PF or C (wherever he feels that will be better) He would make a good frontcourt with okur in the scoring, and would help our team a lot in the race for the title. We add a couple of POs in case that he wants to search for something new

We would like to offer Jermaine O'Neal a one year contract worth the remainder of our cap room - $7,617,389
Jermaine will come in and be the starter at Center, and provide a great low-post presence for this team while Hawes and Gasol learn from him, and grow to be great players themselves.
We admit that Jermaine would be a placeholder for this season, but if he helps us to a championship (which he very well might - with jermaine, our entire starting lineup would be rated 80 or higher), we think it would be worth it for him to sign the one year deal.
He gets basically as much money as anyone else is offering him in year one, gets a great chance to win a title, and then just gets the chance to go out next year after possibly winning his first Championship and get more money next season.
So again
Year 1 - $7,617,389
that's our offer.

The Wizards would like to offer Jermaine O'Neal a 2 year contract worth 17,000,000 and would like to announce that he is our 2nd biggest priority behind the offer to Ron Artest.
If signed he would be our starting Center and give us an option to play competitively. We need either a PG/C and this would be one of those options. If wondering why it's only 2 years, We feel Jermaine is at the end of his career or at least entering that and want to be able to give him a chance to compete if he does not like what we are doing here in Washington. Redd and O'Neal would both enter Free Agency together and that could be the start that they needed.
Year 1: 9,000,000 Year 2: 7,000,000

The Dallas Mavericks would like to offer the following deal to Jermaine ONeal: 5 years $30,000,000
Year 1 : $6,000,000 Year 2: $6,000,000 Year 3: $6,000,000 Year 4: $6,000,000 Year 5: $6,000,000
Team Salary per year without O'Neal, with all options picked up 2009- $58,171,886 2010- $54,929,013 2011- $27,317,735
The Mavericks would like to offer this deal to Jermaine as he would take over as the starting Center on this team. He would be playing alongside a solid group of guys including Dirk, Manu, Melo, and Rasheed. We would like to sure up our center position and would love the veteran leadership that Jermaine brings to the table. Its about time that he tasted some postseason action, as he is not getting any younger. This deal would give him security here in Dallas along with shots at deep playoff runs. We hope that his agent looks hard at this offer as he would be getting a chance to win a title along with the guaranteed money of a 5 year deal. Hope to see in in Dallas!
Our plan is to trade Brook Lopez for a starting point guard, so the starting center position would be yours with a potential lineup of PG-Manu-Melo-Dirk-Jermaine 6th-Rasheed

Mr. O'neal has looked at the 9 teams that offered on him and appreicate each offer, but has narrowed it down a bit.
Out: Aren't going to sign with you, can't do it, won't do it!
NY Knicks: Don't want any part of your lottery bound Elton Brand injury squad.
Phoenix: Great team but have no interest in coming off the bench or competing with Tyson Chandler, sorry.
Houston: My client does not want to come off the bench and you obviously have your starting 5 of Nash/Iverson/Howard/Marion/Okur setup. We also question how well all these players will mesh together, anyways we wish you luck with your experiment.
Bubble: We have some questions for these teams, we will read the answers and take the best two or three to talk seriously with.
Charlotte: You have a legit chance to win a title and my client feels like he would fit in on your team, but you haven't offered my client a serious contract. We understand you have two young guys you like but my client wants security. He may get hurt and wants to be able to have steady income. Gives us a 3 year deal and we will keep talking with you.
Nets: We like the direction your organization is going, but my client really wants a ring and isn't sure you can't provide that for him. We just want a simple explanation why you want my client on your team.
Wizards: Mr. O'neal likes your team as well, but being in the Southeast Division, it's going to be hard to compete. Jarret Jack isn't really what we are looking for in a PG, but we like your new motto. Question is why do you want Ron Artest? You have Deng at SF and Alridge at PF, please explain that to us and would you be willing to make us first on your priority list?
Dallas: You have a very good team, but don't you need a PG more than a big man? How the heck is Manu, Dirk, Melo, Sheed, and Mr. O'neal all going to play together at the same time? My client does not want to come off the bench and is pretty sure Mr. Wallace doesn't want to either.
Detroit: Mr. O'neal enjoyed his time in Motown, but why didn't you just resign him in the 1st place? You have a good team in place, but now that my client has hit the market he likes the offer he is getting from legit contenders such as Charlotte, Orlando, and Dallas.
In: You are high on our list, and we will be in contact soon.
Magic: If we had to pick now we would sign with the Magic, but more questions to come once we get it narrowed down.

Good questions as our team does have some needs right now. We do need a point guard, and we are looking to remedy that. Jermaine will be the starting center for this team, PERIOD. In doing so, Brook Lopez is on the block for a starting point guard that will be able to lead this team. Rasheed Wallace was signed to this team and his agent said that he didnt want to play center. We communicated with his agent that he would be used in the 6th man role or at the pf role when we go small. He signed with us under those conditions.
Our hopes for the next few weeks before the season starts would be for Jermaine to sign with us as our starting center and then to trade Brook for an 80 rated pg. A lineup of PG-manu-melo-dirk-JO with rasheed as the 6th man would wreak some serious havoc

Nets: We like the direction your organization is going, but my client really wants a ring and isn't sure you can't provide that for him. We just want a simple explanation why you want my client on your team. A ring probably isn't in the cards this year unless Artest signs. O'Neal would solidify the starting rotation as the only centers on the current roster are Kurt Thomas and the soon to be signed Robin Lopez. His presence would allow Griffin and Mayo to not have to focus on defense as much (more on the perimeter less in the post) and would give this team a legit post scorer. Again, unless Artest also signs a ring can't be achieved this year but next year all this team would need is one more good player (80+) to compete for that ring. We promise to do everything it takes to make a deep playoff run within the next two years.

Questions answered about our team can be easily addressed by us.
1. Yes we could make O'Neal the number one priority but we need the satisfaction of knowing that we have a legit shot at getting you Mr. O'Neal. You are a talented center and we are aware that you probably fit our team a little bit better than that Artest. We really just wanted Artest to simplify it as the fact that we could move Aldridge to Center and then have Artest give us a legit player other than Aldridge and Redd. 2. The southeast division is very difficult to compete in and we are well aware of everything that's going on in our division, that is another reason why we're working on signing you Mr. O'Neal, without you we stand no chance at making the playoffs at all. With you there is a very likely ability to get us a chance to make the playoffs. With you Mr.O'Neal we would like to make a trade to acquire a legit PG and then make some moves to solidify our chances of making the playoffs even better. 3. As far as making you number one our priority list, the answer to that question is a simple yes. We realistically look you at you and see the fact that we need a legit center and you're the best player on the market. You may be a little bit older, and you want a ring, which is why we're only offering a 2 year deal. If need be, we can even up our offer to compensate for the lack of a definitive championship shot.

You have a good team in place, but now that my client has hit the market he likes the offer he is getting from legit contenders such as Charlotte, Orlando, and Dallas. We tried to resign him but i guess he wanted to try the market. We show our dedication and want to resign Mr. O'neal by making another offer because we really want him back to Motown and give us big help in contending for the title.

Alright, if we need to go more years to have a shot at Jermaine, we will. However, we will lower our offer to more like Dallas' numbers, at 6 mil a year. Also, Washington offered a 2 year contract, but you didn't ask for more years from him. We will first offer a 2 year contract to Jermaine. If you ask both of us to go to 3 years, The Bobcats may do that. We really want Jermaine to have a shot at the title, so we're trying to bring him in to be a true Center in our system. As you've pointed out, Dallas has Dirk at PF and Sheed at C, so Jermaine will be the 3rd best PF/C type on that team. In Orlando, there is already Dwight Howard to dominate the paint. Jermaine works a little better in the paint, though he has the ability to play outside a little. Still seems like not the best fit. In Charlotte, he is the best rated PF/C on the team. We'll let that speak for itself. David Lee would be the other starter, but he does not play defense well. That's why Jermaine would be ideal here in Charlotte. Year 1: $6,000,000 Year 2: $6,000,000 Year 3: $6,000,000 (TO) Total: 2 years guaranteed at total of 12 million...a 3rd year option for another 6 mil for now. We'll put in the 3rd year team option for now. If he's performing how we expect him to perform, he'll get that option picked up. Let us know what Jermaine thinks.

As i told the player agent, i am actively shopping Brook Lopez for a point guard. Jermaine Oneal will be the starting center on this squad with Rasheed coming off the bench in the 6th man role. We know Jermaine wants a shot at a championship and we are going to give him that shot

Thanks to all the teams left, but we have it narrowed down.
Out:
Nets: We really just wanted to hear you out, sorry but my client still feels he is too old for your team.
Dallas: We went back and read the Rasheed singing, I don't see where his agent said Sheed would want to come off the bench. My client feels like Sheed will start at Center, and wishes you luck this year.
Bubble: One of you will be out, but I want to hear you both out.
Wizards: Give us an offer and we will consider, if we like the offer your in and if not your out.
Detroit: Washington can offer us more money but you have a better team. Give us a run down of your situation in Detroit, you didn't say much to start off.
In: This is our order right now of the teams left.
1. Magic: We are tempted to accept your offer now, but the Ron Artest situation makes it tough. Are you willing to make us your #1 option? Also will you really expect my client to guard Lebron when the Magic play the Heat? You have the guards to go small, why wouldn't you just do that?
2. Charlotte: What amount of offensive touches will my client get in Charlotte? We still feel like we can play at a high level on offense. Also would you be willing to trade Gasol or Hawes to make my client happy?
PS. Detroit would be 3 and Washington would be 4 at the moment.
There will be another round of questioning, and then my client will probably make his decision.

Charlotte: What amount of offensive touches will my client get in Charlotte? We still feel like we can play at a high level on offense. Also would you be willing to trade Gasol or Hawes to make my client happy? As for trading one of gasol or Hawes, we are actually trying to do that already. Maybe paired with David Lee for a super upgrade at PF or paired with Terry possibly...no deal is set yet but we are looking at it, so yes to that question. As for offensive touches, we feel Jermaine has a better offensive game than David Lee, so he'd get a lot of low post touches. While we love David's hustle and rebounding, he really mainly scores off of put backs and the pick and roll. While we will incorporate the pick and roll some here in Charlotte, as CP3 likes to do that also, there is no reason that Jermaine can't get in on that fun as well. Plus, Jermaine has a more consistent mid-range game than David Lee, so if David and CP3 are running a pick and roll, Jermaine could step out, fool the Defense, and drain a mid-ranger J. Mr. O'Neal is also vastly superior to David Lee in back to the basket type moves, so he gets all of those touches. Basically, we don't foresee how those touches could be a problem. Shouldn't that same question go to Orlando as well? He has a more dominant post man than we do already, and has 3 guys that could all play PF in different systems. Lots of scorers down in Disney land too, is all we're saying, and they can play at the 4 already too. Anyway, those are our answers. Thank you!
