Why in the world signed he with the rebuilding team NYK???
what arguments do you have???
MONEY? i offerd much more (even 4 deals to choose from!!!)
TITLE? we are playing for the championsship - in NYK he can rebuild with durant...is that what he wants with 30 years?
FIRST OPTION? he is the second best player in each team, while in NYK he has Durant as the primary option, while Dwight Howard is more of a defender
WEATHER? its obviously warmer in Florida
Can u please be objective - let me know, im totally confused and about to quit!

[the funny thing is i even got cut now on the arenas-offer, though i offerd the most money, now Arenas goes rebuilding to LA - looks like every good player doesnt like money and winning a championsship - hahaha - are u wanna even out the league, admins? then make a fantasy draft ]

Ok, this is getting a little out of hand. GMs made offers and the PA's did the best they could. No matter where the best free agents went there were going to be disgrunted and/or disappointed teams. Period. You lost out on Brand. So what? I lost out on Granger, Brand, and Arenas so far. You think I'm happy about it? Yet, I don't go on the board and complain about it either. The only thing I've done is state my disappointment in not getting one of my top three targeted free agents.
Oh, and THE MOST MONEY means NOTHING. Not only that but bloated contracts won't be allowed. Just because you can offer someone $25,000,000 a year doesn't mean you should or even should be allowed to.

Most money means nothing when the offers were as high as they were. Again, you need to drop that as a reason for getting free agents. The Championship run would only be for this year. Both Gay and Turkoglu would have to be re-signed and they both won't come cheap. JRich becomes a free agent in 2012 and again there is no guarantee you re-sign him or even get enough to stave off a rebuilding effort. Also, your bench is a work in progress and even if you have more than 12 players on your team when the season starts your bench won't be as deep as the Knicks' bench. You act like you should be guaranteed a good free agent just because you have some good players. Every free agent is different and in this league every PA is different.

Orlando, this happens in real life also, there is nothign that can be done except for do the best you can from now on. I missed out on Arenas when i had planned on getting him the whole time. His original agent said he didnt resign with LAL due to a chance to play on a team that could win a championship (ASAP were his exact words)-he doesnt sign with me because we have too many good players-and then somehow he resigns with LAL.... Its all good though, gotta move on and make the best with what you got. Complaining isnt going to help.

Newsflash...if eight teams can offer the same (or close to) amount of money IT ISN'T ABOUT THE MONEY. Now you need to just get over it and move on with the current free agents. Be happy there is a league run by people that care about its continual growth and current state. Along with how well the other teams in the league are doing and the fact that those that run the league listen to the other GM's concerns.

"close money" ahhm...Brand left $33,000,000 on the table??? of course its great that u an others run the league - i appreciate it, but that has nothin to do with free agency... well i still waitin for Phoenix to tell me why brand left 33millions on the table to join a rebuilding team...thats gotta be interesting and the orlando Magic now set every focus on Ron Artest...we bid the most money and the best team...hope he signs for us soon!

Being completely honest I'm not upset at the fact that I didn't get the guy I wanted (I'll admit there were better teams making offers for Arenas) as much as how things are being ran all together. I mean there was a longer period of time from when Dallas started the Arenas thread to when LAL made their offer to him (6 days) then the entire amount of time it took for Ramon Sessions to sign (just under 24 hours). And I don't see why Arenas signed back with LAL when he chose to leave them not because of lack of money but to win a championship ASAP and which the chances of that happening for them haven't improved at ALL. Also I don't see why a player would be more likely to sign with a team that showed more interest elsewhere thus resulting in such a late offer.

imo we should start free agency all over again with CLEAR rules... i mean rasheed wallace 83 got signed for 3 millions...maggette 82 for 4 millions in year 1...the granger situation was kinda weird...and of course the Arenas and Brand situation... its all about the subjective feeling the admins have and like a little fantasy draft? let me quote the FA rules or factors: 50% MONEY: Brand left $33,000,000 on the table...wow!? 25% TEAM SITUATION: Veteran player want to sign for Contenders? Brand is 30 years and a 10 yr veteran...even Arenas is 8 years in the league...well they went to rebuilding teams...wow? 15% PLAYING TIME: only 15% would have been starter in either team 10% other staff like GM history...well i led the Timberwolves into the Conference Finals last year... DID U READ THE RULES?
