What players do you guys think will have a breakout season in the NBA this year?
Bargnani - I think he's gonna continue his pace from the second half of last season
Anthony Randolph, Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, Joakim Noah.

Well, Brandan Wright was going to have a big season but now that he's hurt it will have to be next year. I think Speights, McGee, and Blatche are going to continue to improve while Millsap should finally get the minutes he deserves.

Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari should be having a breakout season as well.

Shawn Marion will have a great year this year with J Kidd feeding him. He has played spectacularly in the preseason (I know that means nothing, but still)

I'm rooting for Djuan Blair to have a big season, make all the teams who had mid to late 1st round picks that passed on him look stupid. (And yes I am a PITT fan)

Luis Scola - With Yao and TMac out, he's the #1 scoring option. Aaron Brooks also, had a great playoffs and will put up some points.

I'm rooting for Djuan Blair to have a big season, make all the teams who had mid to late 1st round picks that passed on him look stupid. (And yes I am a PITT fan) I was pretty sure everyone knew he was talented. The thing was (is), he has no knee cartilage left, and if he has longer than a 5-6 year career it will be a miracle. That's why he dropped, not because people didn't think he was good.
