We offer O'neal all we can. He is an essential part in our team and we need him to contend for the title. So if he is still looking for a starting position in a title contender then this is the team for him. We added a player option in case he wants a quick exit afte the 1st year of his contract.

Mr. O'Neal would like to thank the Detroit organization for this offer. He would also like to take this time to say he wants more money. Winning is important but he knows how injury prone he is and wants to make the most with the time he has left in the league. Feel free to offer Jermaine a contract during free agency as it could be a better total offer than what he actually gets offered by other teams.
