if RJ plays like he played in the 2007-08 season and Manu stays healthy they will be strong as hell...

Bucks should have gotten Mason or Hill in this deal, but this gives the Spurs a starting 5 they have had in a long time. They acutally HAVE talent and don't have to relay on doing the right thing. I like Jefferson and he's a Spur kind of guy, does the right thing, plays good D, and can score if he has too. Parker maybe MVP next year, they have finally have a legit starting 5 of PG: Parker SG: Manu SF: Jefferson PF: Duncan C: Gooden. Duncan is WAY overrated but in that system he does the right thing, they still have a bench of Hill, Mason, Booner, Udoka too. Only person they will miss that they trade is Kurt Thomas, but they undervalued him....Bowen is done from what I saw and Oberto is a piece of shit. Probably get Bowen back before it is all said and done though. Great trade for the Spurs and I wouldn't count them out yet, this is the best Spurs team ever on paper.

IMO, they're still lacking an athletic big (Matt Bonner doesn't count) and some depth up front to contend with the Lakers.
BTW WAS - I don't think TP has a chance at MVP.

Parker/Manu/Jefferson/Duncan/Gooden is a DAMN good lineup, and Mason as the 6th man is pretty deadly. They could even play some small ball with Jefferson as the 4, and Parker is going to really benefit from this trade....I'm telling you guys Parker is one of the most underrated players in the game. He is better than Deron, and maybe CP3. I say this trade puts Parker in a category with LBJ, Wade, Yao, Brandon Roy, Dwight Howard, and Kobe for MVP next year.

First of all, it doesn't matter if Mason starts and Manu comes off the bench...Manu is gonna finish the game. It's just the rotations they play, it's dumb to think that really makes a big difference. Second of all, you and I have debated Duncan vs. Shaq (primes) and Duncan/Parker relationship 342523452345234543 times....I'm sorry you can't see all Duncan does is stand at the free throw line on offense.
