After losing the NBA Finals to the San Antonio Spurs in 5 last season, Heat GM Charles Boen wasn't sure what he was going to do. Not being officially being fired yet (after all he did have one of the greatest turn arounds in NBA history) but certainly on the hot seat, and not a fan favorite. After saying he planned to trade Lebron James, he was almost certain he was to be fired. "The young man did a great job for us, but when you want to trade Lebron what else can I do?" said the Miami Heat owner. Boen took a vacation shortly after all this was going on the clear his head, but he hit his heat on a iron statue for Dwight Howard and knocked himself unconscious. In his unconscious state Boen had a weird dream, and I wish to tell you all about it.
Charles Boen was at a press conference, being introduced as the Wizards GM. All 30 GM's in the league at this point were switched around and managing different teams. It was like a fairy tale world or something. The old Wizards GM was now the GM of the Bobcats, Boen immediately tried to get Yao Ming with Michael Redd. He knew his good friend TB loved Redd, and he had always tried to get Yao from the old Bobcats GM. A deal was made that sent Michael Redd, Mike Bibby, Lamarcus Aldridge, Linas Kleiza, Juan Dixon, and Deavean George to Charlotte for Yao Ming, Jason Terry, David Lee, Raja Bell, and Antonio Walker. "I finally get to build the half court I have always wanted to." said Boen of the trade "Yao is one of my favorite players to watch, I hated playing against him when I was with the Heat and him with the Bobcats, and it feels great to have him on my team." Boen hopes to win the title this year, a feat that he could not with the Heat. Is this a dream? What's going on? Only time well tell, but stay tune for more reports.
