man i dont want some no name ficitonal player on my team and i think if there was more incentive on having the draft then it would go much quicker.

I like the fantasy draft idea. We could start it ASAP so it will be done or almost done by the end of the playoffs. To make it even more interesting it would only be 10 rounds so there would be some decent free agents.

The other idea you have posted Phoenix is better than a fantasy draft imo, I'm not in favor of it but you guys just have to have real rookies then switching teams could be fun.

I think Im more down with the fantsy draft if anything. I definately dont want random fictional characters on my team if we continue at this pace.

I like NJ's idea that if we are going to have a fantasy draft we should start it way before the season here ends...so when its over here the other league would be good to go asap!

Because it takes FOREVER, look at the 12 team fantasy draft we are doing? That is a nightmare and it would be even worse when the whole league is waiting on it.
Also who cares what the rookies are called, I mean in this league Nicholas Batum is playing the best. We are 100% accuarte, we could even create like the 84 draft class or something. I don't know but Fantasy Drafts are bad news, take it from people who know.

yup. i say just take the no names. and the thing is they go up in ratings faster. and no offense but most people in this league does not watch ncaa basketball, and i know this by all the rooks passed up because of their rating.

I think the best compromise would be the roster switch option, theres a strong argument against the fictional rookies and fantasy draft.

I'd be down with that also. Same rosters, everyone has to pick a new team.

I like the fantasy draft idea, the thing is we better start it now, and not wait till the current season is over.
I think we should go with the worst record in this league gets the top fantasy picks.
AND then EVERYONE AND I MEAN EVERYONE should atleast send 15 PLAYER DRAFT BOARD for each round, I don't like these 3 player draft board, then everyone *****en about how they got screwed out of getting their guy.
make a MANDATORY 15 player draft board for each round.
Also for the 1st 6 rounds, the draft should be on Fri, Sat, and Sun and each team gets 10 minutes.
For the last 6 teams get 5 min, and you can do that on weekdays or weekends.

it can be done easy it goes this way
no rush we will open alsow draft, then first 2 rounds we will wait till somone picks no auto picks but we need GM's to send wishlist's if not it will go slow as **** then from round 2 till 12 1 hour per pick and for those who sleep or not home they must send wishlist's or auto pick, {live draft wont work IMO...I may not make it or other GM's} its the best way ive seen so far and it worked 100%

I personally like the idea of switching rosters the best. Like many people have said a Fantasy draft would take to long. The idea of adding fictional rookies to me kills any kind of realism there is to this league. Switching teams is something we can start right after the season ends and it keeps this league more realistic.
