Reggie Miller Press ConferenceReggie Miller has been hired by the Washington Wizards to be the shooting coach and assistant GM. Reggie has been looking for a way to get back into the league for quite some time and GM Brad Jasper decided to give the 3 point shooter his shot back. "Reggie realizes how great of a 3 point shooting team we really are so we decided to come out and offer up our services." Reggie is one of the greatest 3 point shooters of all time and has been already seen around the organization working with Michael Redd and his 3 point shooting that seems to have gone cold as of late. For more questions I now turn over the mic to Mr. Miller himself.

First off I would like to thank Mr. Jasper for giving the opportunity to be a part of the Wizard organization. Secondly, my main goal is to bring a title to the great city of Washington. I see a lot of promise from this team, me being a great three point shooter I would be able to relate to Mike Redd and Mike Bibby who are both great three point shooters and help them take their games to the next level. This team seems to be like the 2002 Pacers with their three point shooting abilities and the low post presence down low in Lamarcus. I plan on helping taking this team to where the Pacers could have never went, which is all the way.

Washington Post Reporter:
First of all, I'd like to welcome you back Reggie. I'm just wondering if you were considering to join the Pacers front office? With the history and all, it makes sense, they also have some guys who could use your guidance (Josh Smith, Martell Webster, Monta Ellis). Was there any interest from either parties?

Are you sure you haven't had one too many "Miller Times'" since retiring? Do you see the rest of the league, much less the rest of the division...how can a this Washington squad compete?

Well I do have a lot of history with the Pacers but i was looking to get a some experience close to my new home Washington. As I'm currently looking to get a part time job with CNN who is located in the Washington area. Maybe sometime in the future I would like to be apart of the Pacers franchise again but I'm happy where I am now.

The fact that your in first place in mind boggling consider your lack of NBA Knowledge. Last time I checked Rik Smith retired in 2000. That 2002 Pacers team consisted of JO and Brad Miller down low which was a dynamic duo. If I remember correctly the Heats were one of the laughing stocks in the NBA at that time. How can we compete lol, if you can go from the laughing stock of the NBA to one of the best anything is possible...by the way how did the playoff go for you last season

Reggie's best year were with Dale Davis and Rik Smitts down low. I have only been with the Heat this year, as you can see we are just the opposite of "laughing stock of the league." You sir should have more respect for a team that is lead your division and the league for that matter.

You sir need to understand that your talking to MR. Pacer. I took JO, Artest under my wing and turned them into winners. Don't talk to me about respect, how are you going demand respect from leading a division compared to me who has made the playoff more times than your entire franchise in there history. Your forgetting in my prime i would have whooped anyone on your team ass one on one cause i don't miss. Remember I did score 25,000 points in 17,000 shoots.

and the rivalry "heats" up There is no rivalry with Washington, TB and I are very good friends. My rivals would be Phoenix, Atlanta, and most of all, the most hated team in Miami...THE KITTY KATS! Just because this has been thinks he can come in and thinks he can actually impact me kicking Washington's ass is funny. You are a has been Reggie, if you think you are so great I dare you to suit up for the Wizards and play against my team.

Great job turning them into "winners", they've been to the playoffs like once since you retired. Did you teach them how to punch in that Detroit brawl? If so great job, J.O. really has a nice right! Do not disrespect Lebron James and the Miami Heat, you have NEVER even been able to hold LBJ's jock strap.

If I wanted to I could make the wiz a contender but i'm just here to gain experience and learn the way of the business. Don't want to be another mj story who took kwame brown. Lol as for winner that just shows my impact on them i turned them into winners. They can't do it without me. Lebron is a great player but be serious you have a line backer vs. a traditional shooting Guard. As you can tell the game has evaluate. Larry Bird could not hold my jock strap when it came to shooting threes but we all know he's better than me and lebron at this point of his career. In all seriousness I'll put my job down that the heats will not win the championship. If my responsibility with the wiz were not limited it would be MILLER TIME ALL OVER THE HEATS ASS. If i could i would suit up for the wiz.

I guess we will see who wins the title, but I guarantee it won't be the Wizzies!

The Wizards have officially fired Reggie Miller after Reggie Miller and GM Brad Jasper got into an argument regarding the status of Superstar Michael Redd. Reggie thinks trading Redd will give the Wizards another dimension while GM Brad Jasper is in love with Redd and doesn't want to deal away his franchise player.
