Hello everyone and thanks for coming out today, as everyone knows we traded a young stud in Carmelo Anthony to the Bulls along with Ricky Davis and Dominic McGuire to acquire Jason Terry and Pau Gasol. Melo was struggling, and maybe we should have just threatened him with a trade because if he had played his last 2 games for us like he did the whole year he would still be here. We wish Melo and the others the best of luck in Chicago but now must turn our attention to the two new guys we have. We felt like we needed a character guy in the locker room since we had some horrible attitudes. Not only did we get that character guy in Pau, but we got rid of two of the worst in the league with Carmelo and Ricky. The Miami Heat really have always liked Pau as a player as well, many GM's would ask for Amare Stoudemire and the only way we might have traded him was to get Pau or another big man now playing on the West Coast. The problem with the other big man was he would slow us down in our up tempo game, Pau is great in transition and pairing with Amare Stoudemire should make us the fastest overall team in the league (1 through 5 positions.) Amare was happy about this move, he was tired of Melo and all the inconsistent play we were having. Ricky was a big follower in that as well as others who we hope will now bring it every night. We also secured a hole at the center position, though Krstic did a good job feeling in since the Biedrins trade. We realize this a gamble, look at the Mavericks. Two offensive big men do not always play well together but Amare and Pau both want to make it work and we hope that we can. We are trying to get a pass first PG to help them share the ball, we just aren't sure if Marbury can be that guy though he will probably get a chance. Jason Terry knows he is the only player we have of value on the roster and that he is on the block already, he's going to try his best and if he impresses us and we mesh he stays if not he goes to a team that wants him. That is why Jason is not here, he couldn't stand to have the media ask him questions about his future so we will let Pau say his peace and then open up questions for myself and Pau to answer. Pau: I am a man of few words, Mr. Boen pretty much said it but I look forward to playing with Amare Stoudemire and trying to bring the title back to South Beach. At 28 years old I feel like I am more mature than other players that were here in the past and we will play good basketball on a regular bases, no more getting blown outs. Questions now opened to the media or any of the other 31 teams that wish to ask questions.

Charlotte Times Reporter: Pau, we've always been wondering, what happened to the L at the end of your first name? What has life been like without it? We imagine pretty confusing and lonely, but if you can enlighten us, that would be wonderful.

Pau: Pau is really the way you spell Paul, CP3 has nothin on me and if he comes in my house I am going to swat his little ***** ass....That's one reason I wanted to come to Miami, I don't like the Kitty Kats.

Charlotte Times: Wow that pretty much came out of nowhere. I'm with the Charlotte Times and have no affiliation with Chris Paul, although he is one of the greatest young players in the game today. I sense deep resentment coming from Pau, and we're unsure where it came from. All this talk about Pau being an upstanding character guy just got SHATTERED in two very disturbing sentences.

Phoenix Time Reporter:
"Are there any truth to the Jason Terry to Phoenix rumors?"

Well unless the Suns GM is willing to part with one of his big 4 I don't think so, there was a phone call made about David Lee and Grant Hill for Terry. Since then I have been shopping him around and can get a better deal than that. I think I found Jason a home, won't say where but we are trying to out the paper work.
