I am a major Bulls fan. Was curious what this board thinks the Bulls should do. Personally I want them to draft Rose and trade Hinrich and fillers to obtain a big. thoughts?

I'm going to agree with you, it would be nice if they could trade for someone like Okafor or Brand (I'm a Bulls fan too)

Yeah i like both Okafor and Brand. I know Tyrus Thomas is going to suprise people this year as well. Vinny will give him playing time.

IMO, they should draft Beasley. He would give them the inside scoring presence they've been looking for.

Most of what I've heard from the upper management and the new coach is that they're gonna look for a high character guy...Sounds like Rose mostly. I'm sure Beasley isn't THAT bad, but he better be hon his best behavior when he gets "interviewed" and such.

The Bulls blew it last year with their flirtation with Kobe. I think they should bring back the old Bull Brand for his veteran presence and 20 & 10 ability. Whether he's worth the #1 overall is in question since he's coming off surgery. But Ray Allen went for the 5th overall last year, and he's elevated (along with KG) the Celts to championship (still pending) team. Brand could do the same for the Bulls. Backcourt of Hinrich, Hughes, Gordon, Sefolosha, Duhon with frontcourt of Brand, Deng, Gooden, Nocioni, Noah, & Thomas would be a nice problem. The time is now for them to take over the East, and I don't think Rose, Beasley, or any other rookie would help them immediately achieve that

Brand makes 16.4 mil next season. so Hughes, Nocioni, Hinrich or a sign and trade BG must be involved in this trade period. I could see this deal happening Larry Hughes, Tyrus Thomas and the number one pick for Elton Brand. or they trade Sign and trade BG, Nocioni, Noah and number one pick for Elton Brand and NUMBER 7th pick which they use to select DeAndre Jordan or Brooks Lopez, whichever one falls. |
