ESPN ESPN insider Stephen A. Smith is reporting the Phoenix Suns have been very active in trade talks this past week. One trade has the Suns sending big man Rasheed Wallace to the Hawks for 7'6 Yao Ming. The New Atlanta Hawks GM has denied this rumor but never the less it is still note worthy. If it did happen the Suns would be a very very good team with Yao Ming at Center and giving them a very BIG presence inside though it would slow them down. The next would send fan favorite Shawn Marion and backup forward David Lee to the Golden State Warriors for center Brad Miller and swing man Paul Pierce. I really like this trade for the Suns, though it does slow them down you now have a line up of PG: Baron Davis 88 SG: Ray Allen 88 SF: Paul Pierce 89 PF: Rasheed Wallace 87 C: Brad Miller 78 With Grant Hill, Mutombo, Darko, Wilkins, and Cassell off the bench. More to come, watch for Phoenix to make a move soon!

I think I'm gonna ditch the running game this season, didn't work last season so I'm gonna switch it up.

ESPN ESPN is hearing rumors in the Phoenix area that the Suns maybe planning to get there 3 star PG in the last year. After trading 2 time MVP Steve Nash to the Warriors for Baron Davis, Mr. Davis maybe on his way out. The new general in Phoenix? Former Bucks star who has been traded several times in this off season, Gilbert Arenas. We will now turn to ESPN NBA insider (and reverse for the Toronto Raptors in this league) Jalen Rose. Jalen Rose: This trade makes little sense to me for both teams, Davis is older for the rebuilding Clippers, though he doesn't expire and has an team option where he gets paid about 5 Million less than he currently does. It makes even less sense for the talented loaded, wanting to win now Suns. It doesn't matter who you think is the better play Arenas isn't as good of a passer as Davis, which is something the Suns need at PG with Ray Allen, Grant Hill, Rasheed Wallace, and Shawn Marion all fighting for the ball. I know Davis has struggled but I would only trade him for a pass first PG like a Chris Paul, Jason Kidd, or even Steve Nash It will be interesting to see how things go down but I do not like this deal for either team.
