Reports are saying that the GM of the Toronto Raptors is really pissed off on how starting Small Foawrd Shane Battier has been playing in the past 2 days. It has been said that the off season actuation is a big bust and the Toronto Raptors are looking to deal him ASAP.
I got a chance to talk to Mr. Battier on the phone about this topic that has been going on in the pass week. He told me
"I new i was coming to a diffrent team, home and city. When they got me they new what they where getting. Yes i have to say im playing like c-r-a-p, but thats how I start off a season at a new place. If they raptors do trade me, i undertsand why, but right now, i hope to say a Raptor for at least one season"
It is now reproted that the Toronto Raptors will start off season sigining Jason Kapono and start him at Small Foward. "We are very happy and postive of Jason. I do think this man will become a great player, and i have to say it was by far one of the greatest move i have made in the off Season. He's a guy who can drain Three pointers and also help in D. I can not wait for the next game to see Jason in action" said Toronto Raptors GM. Then i talked to Jason about this and he said to me.....
"I am very happy to get this start. I new that i would be fighting for a spot on the starting roster with Mr. Parker at Shooting Gaurd, but now i can not wait to try out small foawrd. When i signed with Toronto i hoped to play on the starting Roster, and to hear my name at the start of the game, now my dream has come ture, and i hope i can help this club to the post season" said Jason Kapono
The Toronto Raptors are 2-0 on the season, but they want more. In the Total of the two games Shane Battier has played he has socred only 19 points and 6 turnovers in over 73 Minutes of play. Mean while Jason only played one game this season and scored 12 points in only 12 Minutes of play.
