I still need someone (NJN) to explain why Brook has such a low FG...he's at like 66?!?! Dude shoots pretty well IRL, should be at least mid 70's. That's really hurting me.

Because I would have to lower something else. I use nba-live's updated ratings and then change those to fit our league's ratings. I usually don't have to adjust the ratings that much to get to our league ratings for that player so that could be it. It was in the mid 60's from nba-live and I didn't have to adjust his ratings that much.

lol, riiiiight.... it's Brook Lopez apparently being my worst shooter on the entire team. It's pretty ridiculous.
Can't wait til next rating changes...Brook has been like a top 10 player in the league this year, production-wise anyway.

haha, I really love that argument. You would rather he just sat around and didn't try? Someone has to try and do well on that team, and he is doing it. I didn't say he should be rated a 90 and thus a top 10 player in our game, but what he's doing can't be completely ignored either just because the team happens to be bad.
He's showing he has great talent, his FT% is off the charts for a big man (team has no effect on that...he shoots 83.8% on the season, and that has been getting better)...also gets to the line a good amount, and ends up making 5.2 FT a game (nothing to do with the team really). His FG% has nothing to do with the team really, that's just how good he actually is - 49.7%, which is about avg for a bit, certainly nothing bad about it, shooting 50%. Teams double him more because he's on a bad team and they don't have to worry about other guys as much, so it's harder for him to score those 19 ppg. 3.4 OReb per game is just effort on his part to go after the balls that his teammates don't make and clean up. And 1 steal and 2 blocks a game is all him also. He's defending the paint very well, nothing to do with the team really.
