twitter.com/TheNBAScoopHouston is in a funny position, they don't want TMac to come back but they also don't want to trade him (21M expiring).

I would love Donnie Walsh for so long if he moves Eddy Curry in this deal. I'd say to move Duhon as the "sweetener" also...he's not that important right now.
Chandler is too valuable to the future to move. Hughes and Harrington are playing too well now also...
I mean to move Curry, I'd still move hughes or harrington with him if it was absolutely necessary...but Curry/Duhon would be a stroke of genius for Donnie.

Don't see any reason for Houston to take on Curry. That would give them two of the most injury prone C's in the game and Curry would eat up a chunk of their cap space next season.

it would suck if they lose Chandler, maybe they should move Douglas or Gallinari instead.
The Rockets don't necessarily need to take Curry they could opt for Jeffries instead.

If WC goes to Houston instead of Curry that would be better, but Houston would have to find a spot for all three of Battier, Ariza and WC. Shane will probably get sacrificed and that would be sad...

You guys should know well enough, from being in these leagues, that they also have to match, or get close, in salaries.
TMac makes about $23 mil this year!
Curry makes about $10 mil this year Hughes makes 13ish Harrington I want to say is in the 9-10 range Duhon and Jeffries are in the 5-7 range
So...do the math. Jeffries (6) plus Chandler (2ish?) is not coming even close to matching up.

Hughes, Jeffries, and Chandler/Gallinari is close enough that's within 125 rule.

Knicks will NOT trade Gallinari...and I highly doubt they'd give Chandler to be honest.
Curry is definitely more move-able now that he just has one year left after this one. It's not a crazy long contract anymore, and in fact is pretty valuable for teams next season. I would not be surprised to see a Curry/Hughes for TMac deal happen.
