The Grizzlies offer Shannon Brown a contract worth 6 million over 3 years.
2009/2010: $1,000,000 2010/2011: $2,000,000 2011/2012: $3,000,000
Grizzlies Team Salaries without Brown (including all options and draft picks):
09/10 Total Salary: $37,484,980 10/11 Total Salary: $38,740,824 11/12 Total Salary: $34,379,960 12/13 Total Salary: $29,486,120 13/14 Total Salary: $0
We feel that Shannon is a nice young guard and that he can be an important role player in our backcourt for many years as he is still very young which fits with our rebuilding plans. He will probably not be a starter right away as we have better players at PG and SG, but we feel that he can be very important for us due to his versatility and that he can battle for a starting spot down the road if he keeps getting better.
