The Cavaliers would like to offer Martell Webster an offer of:
2009/2010: $500,000 2010/2011: $1,000,000 2011/2012: $1,500,000 2012/2013: $2,000,000
Total: $5,000,000 via MLE
09/10 Total Salary: $70,983,633 10/11 Total Salary: $65,849,553 11/12 Total Salary: $36,800,000 12/13 Total Salary: $24,500,000
Martell would be one of our first wings off the bench. The Cavs, me specifically, like the ceiling he has, and love to watch him play. He brings a spark off the bench at the SG/SF position, bringing athleticism and 3PT shooting. The money may not be there, but he hasn't really played to his full capability yet, so the offer allows him to find himself, and opt out after 3 years if he wishes. Ira Newble would be cut in favor of him if he chooses to sign.
Priority List: Wilson Chandler - Grant Hill - Martell Webster - Jamal Magloire

The Miami Heat would like to offer Martell Webster a 3 year deal worth $8,500,000 M, with player options on year 2.
Year 1: $2,500,000 Year 2: $3,000,000 Year 3: $3,000,000
Total: $8,500,000
We feel like you are a very good young talent, and while we are going to after a starting caliber SF (Ron Artest, Marion, Maggette) we feel like you can be our 6th man and help out a very weak bench. If something falls through you may get a chance to start, but playing with Kobe and Lebron in a scorers role has to be exciting. 20 mins a game, a chance to get your feet back under you after the injuries you've had, and when you feel like you are worth more you can opt out try your luck on the market. We feel like you will be a start in the league Mr. Webster, but in the mean time you might as well get you a ring.

Sorry Mr. Webster but Kleiza taking less money to play for us, and increasing interest in Ron Artest has let us to withdraw our offer for you
