The Nuggets are lacking a sf. We want to bring on a veteran to play along side Hamilton, Stoudemire, and Bogut. With the help of Maggette we think we have a real good chance of winning a series or two in the playoffs.
The Nuggets want to offer a 5 year $29,000,000
Year 1: $4,000,000 Year 2: $5,000,000 Year 3: $6,250,000 (PO) Year 4: $6,250,000 Year 5: $7,500,000 (TO)
Salary with Afflalo, Barea, and Maggette $61,310,509 21,350,000 26,374,000 6,250,000

Our organization feels that Corey is one of the better swingman in the game and that he would be a great addition to our team. Corey will have the chance to start at SG or SF depending on who else signs with us. We feel that Corey can help us contend for a playoff spot this year and lead our team to great success down the road as a mentor to our youngsters. We will also give Corey the option to opt out of his contract in 2012 if he is not happy in Memphis or wants to sign another long term contract while he is still in his prime.
priority list: Danny Granger, Ron Artest, Wilson Chandler, Corey Maggette

Offer: 36,000,000 for 4 years
Year 1 - 7,500,000 Year 2 -8,500,000 Year 3 - 9,500,000 (PO) Year 4 - 10,500,000 (PO)

We want Corey Maggette to be our starting SG or SF (wherever he feels that will be better as he can play both positions very well) he would make our team stronger to contend for the title (as we might sign a good PF) we add a couple of POs in case he wants to try something new

Mr. Maggette loves the other players the Nuggets already have and can't wait to start at SF for a team with a title shot. Update charts ASAP. The Nuggets want to offer a 5 year $29,000,000 Year 1: $4,000,000 Year 2: $5,000,000 Year 3: $6,250,000 (PO) Year 4: $6,250,000 Year 5: $7,500,000 (TO)
