My client would like a longer contract worth more. He feels that he is a important part of any team's makeup whether coming off the bench or starting. He would like to be a part of a winning team with a shot at winning it all but this offer just isn't good enough. Mr. Mason would like an offer starting at...
09/10: $2,500,000 10/11: $3,000,000 11/12: $3,500,000 12/13: $3,500,000 (player option)

This offer although an improvement isn't what Mason was looking for so he will become a free agent. Feel free to offer Mason a contract during free agency.
