Many have doubted iverson's ability to perform. Poeple do wonder why is he still voted an all-star players depsite his downhill performance. Nonetheless, the Timber-Wolves organization see Iverson as a precious mentor that the entire team needs. With most of its players under 26years of age, Iverson will be useful in leading the team being the most experienced of the lot. the GM has confirmed that Iverson will occupy the starting SG spot mostly(with J.Rich at SF) especially if the team is going small. With injuries, Iverson will take on PG role as the Floor general and we still do expect great things from him.
Therefore the Wolves want to offer Iverson a 3 year contract worth $15mill
year1: $6,000,000 year2: $5,000,000 (team option) year3: $4,000,000

My client won't sign for that amount of money. He realizes the Timberwolves organization is heading in the right direction and may be successful in the playoffs but there are other teams out there that would be willing to pay him more that could also bring him a 'ship. Mr. Iverson would like to wish the 'wolves organization much success in the future as he is going to test free agency.

Mr. Iverson would like to wish the 'wolves organization much success in the future as he is going to test free agency. The wolves is appalled with Iverson's rejection but still sees him as a valuable asset to the team. According to the Free Agency rules, GMs are allowed to post minimum offers and re-negotiate if it doesnt fal through. Hence the Timberwolves organization went through another round of meetings and reached a final decision for an offer for Mr Iverson. We promise that he will be starting playing along side Deron Williams, Rashard Lewis & Al Jefferson. We hope to have many championship runs with Iverson on board We offer a 6year contract worth $52.5million Year1:$12,500,000 year2:$8,000,000 year3:$9,500,000 year4:$8,500,000 (team option) year5:$7,500,000 (player option) year6:$6,500,000
