The Lakers would like to offer Gilbert Arenas a 5 year 75 million dollar contract (15 mil per year.)
year 1: $15,000,000 year 2: $15,000,000 year 3: $15,000,000 year 4: $15,000,000 year 5: $15,000,000
We would like to bring back Gilbert Arenas as Starting Point Guard/Shooting Guard, I believe with him, Hortford, Bynum, and other young players and talented players we can win a NBA championship with them now and in future, and Arenas can be THE MAN and be the STAR in LA as well as being successful and winning championships with LAL.

My client enjoyed his last season with the Lakers and has no problem with anyone within the organization but he does want to test the market. The money isn't the issue it is the ability to compete for a championship within the next three years. He does like young talent the team is adding and has already added but Gilbert wants a ring and wants in ASAP. Mr. Arenas is going to become a free agent.

We are disappointed to hear Mr. Arenas will not be accepting our offer to stay with the Lakers, but we understand his desire for a ring and so best of luck to Mr. Arenas, if he does not find a team he likes to win a championship ASAP with, the Los Angeles Lakers will be glad to welcome him back to the organization anytime.
Again best of luck to Mr. Arenas with his future.
