The Miami Heat would like to offer Jorge a 1 year deal at $500,000.
Year 1: $500,000 Year 2: $500,000 (PO) Year 3: $500,000 (PO)
Total: $1,500,000
First of of behalf the Miami Heat organization, I would like to apologize for trading Jorge to NY. We felt like Quentin was going to be a HUGE part of our team (though he hasn't so far) and we needed to get rid of Barnes contract. We love Jorg'se game and would love to have him back in Miami as the starting SF. We also give you the best chance to win a ring, we have the best record in the league, lead our division by the most games (in the toughest divisions ) and lead the East by 4 games. There also no commitment to it, you draw your check from the Knicks and make an extra $500,000 K on the side. Next year you become a FA (like you were suppose to) and test the market.

You may ask why somebody like Jorge would want to come to Washington, however, this answer is simple. I have no true starting PF. Jorge would step in right away and take the starting position away from Linas Kleiza who would then be placed on the bench. He won't get near the playing time he would in Phoenix or Miami that he would get here.

For in-season free agency, the player goes to highest bidder

I say we take this like the offseason considering we are all over the cap and need him. He'd be a starter here;).

It's how it would be in real life, he'd go to where he thought he could win/play the best and not worry about money since it's for one year.

Year 1: $500,000 Year 2: $500,000 Year 3: $500,000 (TO) Total: $1,500,000 He accepts this offer. He sees this as a GREAT oppurtunity to earn a ring, and possibly learn something from one of the great PF's in his time.
