As much as I hate to say it, I'm gonna go with the Spurs. They've reloaded this off-season and got some great veteran players.

the old man Spurs ain't doin nothing this year. Manu is always hurt, and can Duncan's knee's hold up.
maybe if they upgrade at Center position like trade McDyess for a cheaper wing, and trade RJ for a more expensive Center then yeah the Spurs got a shot.
but until then the champions are gonna repeat.
there's only 4 legitimate championship contenders as far as I am concerned.
Lakers Celtics Spurs Magic
sorry I don't consider the overrated Cavaqueers as anything and Denver overachieved they are gonna come back down to earth this year.

It's the Lakers title to lose, only way they will lose is A. They get ****y B. Lebron and Shaq both play INSANE.
Lakers Cavs Spurs
everyone else has no shot, maybe Boston.

I like Orlando as the dark horse winner. I love Dwight. With Lewis, Carter, and a healthy Nelson back, Superman's gonna have enough Robin's to seriously contend. And they have Bass too, which allow Lewi$ to not hafta play unnaturally at PF. Yes, I know Superman's sidekick is not Robin, deal with it.

I think the lakers will take it again. Kobe is too sick and will go off on any team. The cavs will make the finals, but i dont think shaq will be effective hes an old man, and if he couldnt win it with phx with nash and amaree i doubt he can do it with just lebron.

I honestly think orlando has a great shot in winning it. they came so far with Courtney lee and skip-to-my-loo. Now they have Nelson back and Vince carter in the backcourt, plus Brandon Bass & Ryan anderson to play PF.Howard should have amazing backup and Rashard Lewis should produce much better results at his natural SF position

Did you see the Suns last year? They weren't the Suns of old (Joe Johnson, Marion, Q). Nash is a good point guard but plays out of his mind in a run and gun type of system and the Suns weren't exactly that last year. LeBron isn't just a good player he is the most physically gifted player probably ever and is either 1a or 1b when considering the best player in the league right now. He was one player away from being in the Finals last year and now he has a top 5 center in the league that can also force double teams. Shaq has already stated he is determined to make this work and a driven Shaq is a dangerous Shaq. This could be the year Bron averages a triple double.

Oh, and if Hickson gives them anything this year it could put them over the top.

I don't see the Magic winning it, I do see VC as an upgrade over Lee but I'd rather have Lee and Turkoglu then VC. As long as the LAL or Cleveland doesn't win it I'll be happy.

If the suns can learn to perform significantly better defense to go along with the crazy offensive strategy with their new coach (and assuming the players are healthy), they should go really really far. Winning the western conf finals should be a problem though, assuming its the Lakers they face

With the way Denver played last night I'm not so sure the Lakers are even going to make it to the Finals this year.
