That's 4 straight; 2 of which were against Houston. My defense is doing all the work, as Houston was held below 40% shooting.

Starting 5 did great even though Horford did not shoot, he made it up with rebounds. Parker, Gordon and Hedo are averaging 20+ points now.

Shut down the high powered Nuggets offence. Marion, Sheed, Hill all sucked in their last game. Gonna miss Lee off the bench though, 8 pts, 4 rbs in 10 mins

SAS/LAC : Clippers won by 15 points even though Brook Lopez had another double-double 16 points 12 rebounds) and Mike Miller had 25 points. Dirk was held in check with 13 points and that was the major difference in the game. Josh Howard stepped up with a big game (26 points 11 rebounds 7 assists 3 steals 1 block) and Smush had 21 points and 4 steals. The 12 point and 16 point 4th quarters made this an easy route for the Clipse and a credit to the Clippers defense. MIL/LAL : The Lakers pulled out the 5 point win with the help of Bynum's dominating performance on the boards (19 rebounds) and on defense (Okafor - 1 point). The Lakers had come from behind and stepped it up in the 4th quarter while Farmar put in 21 points. The shooting from the stripe was the difference in this game. The Lakers shot 9 more free throws and made 8 more. DEN/PHO : Denver put up a pitiful 71 points and the Suns walked away with a 14 point win. Bogut didn't step (3-15 FG) up but Duncan had close to a typical game (14 point 15 rebounds 4 blocks). Ray Allen and Damien Wilkins both disappointed but the Suns were able to overcome subpar games from two starters. Also, Darrell Armstrong had another good game since singing with the Nuggets but was seen threatening Lofton before the game and Lofton never got into a groove. David Lee outscored the Nuggets bench all by himself and Denver needs more production off the bench to compete once the playoffs come around. SAC/MIA : In another overtime game and high scoring game the Kings squeaked out a 4 point win. Starbury showed up with 37 points and 8 assists. Kevin Martin poured in 36 points with good peripherals while Jefferson and Scola stepped up a little more than Camby and LeBron. The Heat allowed the Kings back in teh game in the 4th quarter by being outscored 25-14. Both these teams and playoff caliber teams with a chance to make noise in the playoffs and I expected nothing less than a very close, hard fought game. ORL/UTA : Orlando took it to the Jazz with a 17 point win even though Telfair stepped up with a 13-13 from the charity stripe. The Budinger experiment didn't go so well but given time it could provide a boost to the starters. The difference was shooting. Orlando shot 48% from the fieldn and made 7 more threes. Utah needs some work and/or experience to make a serious run. MEM/HOU : Amare showed up but Kleiza didn't and led to the Grizzlies 7 point win. Amare, Butler, and Ricky Davis were horrid from the field and Houston couldn't overcome it. Conley (18 points) and Gay (25 points ) were big for the Grizz and led to beating a better team. Houston is in trouble if they can't beat the Grizzlies on a consistent basis. ATL/CHI : The Hawks won by 14 and Kobe, Kirilenko, and Hamilton all poured in 20+ points while Kevin Love had another double-double (18 points 12 rebounds). Wade and Felton had bad games again and it cost Chicago any chance of competing with the Hawks. The Bulls need both Felton and Wade to step up if they are going to have any chance against other playoff teams.
