The Charlotte Bobcats are VERY surprised by the lack of interest thus far in Delonte, as we think he is an incredibly gifted athlete and basketball player. He will fit in perfectly in our system as he's a very versatile player, and will be our first guard option off the bench. We are planning on trading Bobby Jackson so he will be the first option.
Contract will be for 6 years and $20 million.
Year 1: $3,000,000 Year 2: $2,000,000 Year 3: $3,000,000 Year 4: $3,000,000 Year 5: $4,000,000 Year 6: $5,000,000

Since we missed out on our big prized FA, Josh Smith, we would now like to spend that money in other directions. We would like to offer Delonte a contract
Year 1: $4,000,000 Year 2: $4,000,000 Year 3: $4,000,000 Year 4: $4,000,000 Year 5: $4,000,000
Total: $20,000,000

Grizz, just curious, do you have like 5 open roster spots? If not, what's your priority on all those guys you're trying to sign now? You have about 25 million out there in offers for this year, so just wondering.

I have the cap space for all the guys i offered. if im not wrong, im pretty sure you can go over the 15 player limit in the offseason.

Just a heads up, you can't trade free agents you sign yet, so if you get them and are over the 15 player roster limit, you'll have to trade someone else or cut someone.

I'd be willing to match/raise on Grizz's offer if Delonte is interested in playing for the Bobcats. If there's like equal interest between my team and memphis, let me know. If he's favoring Grizz regardless of the money, then that'd be cool to know.

Delonte likes Charlotte's roster more as there are more guards he knows he can beat out. Memphis has too many good guards and is in need of a big man, which he doesn't think he can provide. Charlotte matching Memphis' offer or beating it out should do it.

We think Delonte would be great on our team, as he'd beat out Bobby Jackson probably right away for the backup PG job, and bobby expires this year so he'll either be gone next year or before that. This way we have a GREAT backup PG for a long time. Our order of preference is Delonte/Amir/Udrih.
Offer updated!

He is happy to have a team that is willing to interested in him enough to agree to match what he wanted. Update charts ASAP.
