The Detroit Pistons want to sign wright 72 for 6 years (we use a portion from our MLE)
Year 1: $1,700,000 Year 2: $1,950,000 Year 3: $2,200,000 year 4: $2,450,000 (player option) year 5: $2,700,000 year 6: $2,950,000 (team option)
total money: $13,950,000
as we miss out on dooling, kurt thomas and pj brown, Wright is our priority no.2
Wright would be our 6th man. We plan to play him 25-35 minutes at SG and SF. We would welcome him as he fits perfectly the style of the Pistons! He would have a great chance at a ring as we have the best starting 5 in the league!

Dorell will be one of our first options off the bench. We LOVE his youth and athleticism, and think it is a tragedy he has not gotten more playing time in Miami in the past. We are also realists. Gerald Wallace has a tendency to get injured, and if he does this year, Dorell will immediately go into the starting lineup. We will up our offer, as we very much want to have him on our team.
The Charlotte Bobcats would like to offer Dorell Wright a 6 year contract worth $15,000,000.
Year 1: $5,000,000 Year 2: $2,000,000 Year 3: $2,000,000 Year 4: $2,000,000 Year 5: $2,000,000 Year 6: $2,000,000

Dorell thinks he gets more playing time on a younger team, where hard work will pay off, rather than a more experienced team where the veterens have the clear advantage.
