Why? He's a team cancer. Enjoy. Darius Miles had a large multi yr contract that was voided because doctor's concluded that Miles had a career ending injury. This allowed his contract to pretty much disappear, giving the blazers capspace next offseason. If Miles is able to play in ten games though, his contract is back on the blazers payroll.

I'm not really worried. Even if it screw up our cap space plan, it's not like we don't already have 3 big pieces along with Rudy, Bayless, Travis, etc. to still win. A big FA in 09 would just be a plus. I don't know what the Celtics are trying to do though, both his knees were screwed up pretty badly.
