What GM do you really look up to the most? Personally Jerry Jones all the way! I think we have very similar styles and he's the GM of my favorite football team so it works out good.

Mark Cuban- best GM in the NBA, and maybe in all of sports. Loves his team, players, willing to try anything to win. What other GM do you see on the floor of games yelling and cheering hsi team on

he is...good catch. i am working/thinking too fast to be answering questions..haha. He is the best owner. They are my favorite team and a frotn office that works pretty well. So i guess the real GM, Donnie Nelson, would be my favorite GM. Cuban would be my favorite owner.

Bill Polian, he is always smart and deicisive with his moves with the Colts, and always keeps them in Superbowl contention every year with picking up nobody's on Defense and at times on Offense, but it doesn't hurt that he does have a fellow he drafted named Peyton on the team though.
the perfect example would be the LB situation with the Colts
Mike Peterson gone, Marcus Washinton gone, David Thornton gone, and Cato June gone but still they do a solid job at LB.
also look at who else they lost Corey Simon, Anthony McFarland, Nick Harper, Mike Doss, Jason David, Tarik Glenn (retirement), Jake Scott, Rick DeMulling, The Edge, Marshall Faulk, Dominic Rhodes for a while, Ben Utecht, Brandon Stokely.
I mean he just finds a way to replace talent, he and Scott Pioli are hands down the best GM's in the league.

I'd have to go with "The Logo" Jerry West! He put championship-winning teams in LA and made the MEM Grizz a respectable, playoff-making team. Not bad for a good ol' boy from West VA...and I'm sure he had some pull in the Gasol to LA trade...
