Once you claim a team, you need to do these things.

1. Set up team threads, including depth chart, salary, and draft picks owned

2. Decide which FA you would like to re-sign and offer a contract and post it in the Free Agent thread.

3. See who got drafted to you, if anyone and decide if you would like to sign them.

Do these within 3 days or you will be removed from the league
